The table below shows the water chemistry of my fish during
the past six weeks under the experiment. In the first week the nitrates were
10mg/l but as the weeks progressed it decreased which is a good thing for the
survival of the fish. The nitrites seem to be constant all through the week
with no change. The pH of the water in the fishes was first under 6.4 which were
too acidic for the fish but as the weeks went by it was in the ranges of about
6.4 to 6.8 of which was good for the fish.

During week 4, the test strips were changed from Sera to
Tetra and these are the difference in readings of these tests strips. As we can
see from below, the old test strip didn’t give much of exact values on the
things that were tested in the water of the fish whereas the new one showed the
exact values or ranges.
