My plant is doing really well. The following results have been recorded.
Total root length (mm) = 258
straggly
mod. Dev.
good Dev.
root mass
root ball
Plant height (mm) = 75
# New shoots = 4
if we now compare these results to BPI1
Total root length (mm) = 338
straggly
mod. Dev.
good Dev.
root mass
root ball
Plant height (mm) = 198
# New shoots = 6
looking at both results it seems that the pink plant in a tank with an isolated fish has a faster growth rate than in the non-isolated tank. This could be because the roots of BPI1 is not exposed to much light due to the cardboard restricting light entering and this causes the roots to grow longer as they are trying to 'find' light. As for the one exposed to light the root growth is a little slower as it is getting light. The nutrients from the fish is also helping the growth of the plant.
Nice. mentioned everything. well structured.
