For weeks my plant has been doing very well. It has kept growing day in and day out, and although some leaves have died it was replaced with new shoots.

My water has never turned brown or green nor has the roots of the plant gone brown; this is because every week I would change the water of the plant so that it has fresh water entering into the next week. This method seems to keep the plant fresh and keep algae away, it keeps the bad smells away too (if the water is dirty)
