Betta Fish (RWI1)

From what I have seen about the Betta red fish and white Hypoestes plant, all is going well. The fish is Very alive and active while the plant is growing well. From the first results I coould see that everything was balanced such as the pH being 6.4.
The fish however was separated from the others by a sheet of cardboard and the plant was not given direct sunlight (but I understand that it should not be given direct sunlight). The plant with the fish in it has definitely grown a lot better than my plant at home, the roots have more space to grow, the water is changed more frequently, there is much more water in the jar at the lab and most obvious it has a fish in it providing the nutrients.
But neither of the plants has seem to sprout flowers yet.
